We have been building (and renovating!) quality custom and semi-custom homes in the Birmingham area for 45 years. As one of Birmingham's largest new home builders, our experience is 2,000 homes strong and growing. Since we were founded in the early 1970s, Gibson & Anderson has completed over 2,000 beautiful homes, commercial facilities and condominium complexes across Alabama and Florida, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

With that being said, as of now Gibson & Anderson will not be building any new construction — but we aren’t going anywhere. All warranties and obligations will be honored. OUR ROOTS

Earl Gibson and Ed Anderson met in the mid 1960s while attending a local Birmingham high school. A lasting friendship formed that led the two to Auburn University where they became fraternity brothers. Both entered the work force after college; a few years later they pooled their resources to achieve their dream of beginning a construction company. They began building in the early 1970s and incorporated the business in 1974 as Gibson & Anderson Construction.
